⚙️ Installation Guide

Complete step-by-step guide to install and activate Checkoutify Pro on your WordPress site. Follow these instructions carefully to ensure a smooth installation process.

System Requirements Check

Before You Begin

Ensure your WordPress site meets the minimum requirements for Checkoutify Pro:

WordPress Version

5.0 or higher (Latest recommended)

WooCommerce

4.0 or higher (Latest recommended)

PHP Version

7.4 or higher (PHP 8.0+ recommended)

Memory Limit

128MB minimum (256MB recommended)

SSL Certificate

Required for secure checkout

File Permissions

Write access to wp-content directory

💡 Pro Tip: You can check your current system status in WordPress Admin → Tools → Site Health.

Download Checkoutify Pro

Get Your Plugin Files

Download the Checkoutify Pro plugin from your account dashboard:

  1. Log in to your Checkoutify Pro account
  2. Navigate to "My Downloads" section
  3. Click "Download Latest Version"
  4. Save the Checkoutify-pro.zip file to your computer
⚠️ Important: Do not unzip the file! WordPress needs the .zip format for installation.

Install via WordPress Admin

Upload and Install

Install Checkoutify Pro through your WordPress admin panel:

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New
  3. Click the "Upload Plugin" button at the top
  4. Click "Choose File" and select your Checkoutify-pro.zip
  5. Click "Install Now"
  6. Wait for the installation to complete
  7. Click "Activate Plugin"

Alternative: FTP Installation

Manual Installation via FTP

If you prefer or need to install manually via FTP:

  1. Unzip the Checkoutify-pro.zip file on your computer
  2. Connect to your website via FTP client
  3. Navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. Upload the entire Checkoutify-pro folder
  5. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins
  6. Find "Checkoutify Pro" and click "Activate"

💡 Note: Make sure file permissions are set correctly (755 for directories, 644 for files).

License Activation

Activate Your License

After installation, activate your license to receive updates and support:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Checkoutify Pro
  2. Click on the "License" tab
  3. Enter your license key (found in your purchase email)
  4. Click "Activate License"
  5. Wait for the green "Active" status confirmation
✅ Success! Your license is now active and you'll receive automatic updates.

Verify Installation

Confirm Everything Works

Verify that Checkoutify Pro is properly installed and working:

  • ✅ Plugin appears in Plugins → Installed Plugins
  • ✅ "Checkoutify Pro" menu appears under WooCommerce
  • ✅ No error messages in WordPress admin
  • ✅ License status shows as "Active"
  • ✅ Templates are available in settings
